Toyota Delayed My C-HR Repair for Months After Approval
Despite receiving repair approval from the insurance company Magdeburger Sigorta on February 14, 2025, my vehicle has still not been repaired or delivered. Toyota Efe Ankara Authorized Service has been unable to resolve the issue and cannot provide a satisfactory explanation. The customer service representatives at Toyota’s Headquarters do not answer my questions, and I have not received any phone call from a representative. I had an accident with my Toyota C-HR on January 20. After the traffic accident report and expert evaluation, the insurance company approved the repair on February 14, 2025. On the same day, I was informed that the repair cost would be ₺350,000, which I accepted. However, on May 31, 2025, the authorized service issued a bill of ₺633,000. Had I known this amount in advance, I would have opted for the vehicle to be declared a total loss. I feel deceived by this situation. No one is taking responsibility for the delay in the repair process. During this time, my vehicle’s insurance, motor vehicle tax, and warranty coverage have all been impacted. Over four months have passed since the approval, and I was only provided with a replacement vehicle for 14 days, as stated in the insurance policy. It has now been more than five months since the accident, and I’ve suffered both financially—due to car rental and taxi expenses—and emotionally, as my family’s peace has been disrupted. I respectfully request that an official from Toyota Headquarters contact me by phone to provide clear information about the situation and my vehicle.
