Toyota Procity Warranty Voided After Timing Chain Snaps
Hello, we purchased a Toyota Procity 2021 model. We've had all maintenance done at Toyota service centers up to 135,000 kilometers; we only missed the last one. The car's timing chain snapped at 140,000 kilometers, and Toyota denied warranty coverage. I'm asking everyone:
Are these cars disposable?
There are plenty of repair and maintenance shops in the market. Are they all fake since we can't get service elsewhere?
Is a brand like Toyota's vehicle only usable up to 150,000 kilometers?
When buying a car, should we now ask about its durability up to how many kilometers, especially with Toyota?
Why is our good faith being disregarded? (As everyone knows, the timing chain is not related to usage.)
