Toyota Did Not Cover Tensioner Log Issue on My 2020 Corolla Under Warranty
Shortly after the maintenance of my 2020 model Toyota Corolla, which is still under warranty, I began hearing a strange noise coming from the part called the tensioner log in the engine. When I contacted the service and the headquarters, they claimed this part was not covered under warranty, despite the vehicle having only 25 thousand kilometers. The failure of this part in such a short time has shaken my trust in the brand. I caution my friends considering Toyota that they may face issues with warranty coverage, as the company does not seem to stand behind the vehicles they sell. Customer service provides dismissive responses, and while the service center acknowledges that the part should be replaced under warranty, the headquarters avoids responsibility by saying they will report it to the authorities and trying to end the call quickly. It feels like having a Toyota warranty provides no real assurance.
The Toyota company still hasn't contacted me regarding the warranty. As can be understood from the complaints, the brand is completely uninterested and indifferent, and their customer representatives provide unhelpful information. They only care until the car is sold, and then the service is just focused on making money. Please take these into consideration.
