I Faced Ongoing AdBlue Issue with My 2021 Toyota Proace City Since Day One
I bought a 2021 Toyota Proace City brand new, expecting reliability from day one. Unfortunately, I’ve been dealing with a persistent AdBlue fault ever since I took delivery of the vehicle. Every time I took it to the service center, they simply cleared the warning light and handed it back to me—no real fix, just a temporary cover-up. This continued until the vehicle reached 90,000 km.
Now, they’ve finally diagnosed the issue as a faulty AdBlue injector—after the warranty has expired. And now they want to charge me ₺6,500 for the repair. When I asked why this wasn’t diagnosed and fixed during the warranty period, their response was, “The error code was different back then.”
Toyota, I’m shocked by this response and your lack of accountability. I entrusted your service team throughout the warranty period, and now I’m expected to pay for something that was clearly an ongoing issue all along. I will be pursuing my legal rights, and I urge you to step in and resolve this properly by covering the repair cost. This is not how a brand that claims reliability should treat its customers.
