Toyota Gave Me a Brand New Corolla With a Defect - Refused Warranty Coverage

On March 29, 2025, I received a brand-new Toyota Corolla from the Toyota ALJ showroom in Ankara. After taking delivery of the vehicle, I noticed wear/scratch marks on the plastic part of the inner handle of the front left door, which I believe were caused by friction from a hard object. Due to the holiday break, I couldn’t immediately contact the authorized service. When I later reported the issue, I was told that it was not covered under warranty and that nothing could be done. I explained that the vehicle was already in this condition when I received it and that refusing warranty coverage in this case was incorrect. I requested that the issue be resolved, but they said they would review it and get back to me. The next day, I received the same response: "It’s not covered under warranty, there’s nothing we can do." This attitude does not suit a long-established and reputable brand like Toyota. I paid a significant amount for a brand-new vehicle, only to receive it with a defect. This issue needs to be resolved as soon as possible.
