I Face Toyota Corolla Paint Peeling Defect and Years of Delays

We purchased our 2010 Toyota Corolla Elegant, license plate 06 ** 1141, brand new. For about 5 years, the vehicle has had minor paint defects that gradually worsened and eventually turned into serious peeling. Around 2 years ago, we contacted Toyota Efe Plaza regarding this issue.
After the inspection, we were clearly told that this was a chronic manufacturing defect and that the vehicle would be painted free of charge. However, since then, the process has turned into nothing but delay and stalling. At our first application, we were told that we were 3rd in line. In every later conversation, we were simply told that we were still “2nd in line,” with no concrete action taken.
Being told the same thing for such a long time cannot be considered a sincere or customer-oriented approach. The fact that the service forms and registration numbers we had are now missing, while Toyota Turkey says our phone conversations are recorded, has seriously damaged our trust in the process.
Despite contacting Toyota Turkey many times, we were repeatedly given the same scripted response that the work is being handled “according to workshop order.” No clear date has been provided, and no real solution has been offered. This clearly shows how far Toyota Efe Plaza has moved away from customer satisfaction and how much Toyota’s representation in Turkey can leave customers victimized.
It is unacceptable for a customer to be stalled for years over a problem that has already been acknowledged as a chronic manufacturing defect. My expectation at this stage is very clear: I request that a definite written appointment date be provided immediately for my vehicle to be painted, and that this date be fully honored. I absolutely do not accept any further delay, additional excuses, or vague explanations such as “you are still in line.”
