Toyota Corolla Paint Problem And Denied Replacement Request
Dear Toyota Officials, I am writing this letter to express the serious hardship I have experienced regarding the paint issue arising from a manufacturing defect in my 2013 Model Toyota Corolla. The details of the problem are as follows: Due to paint peeling caused by a manufacturing defect in my vehicle, I approached the Toyota authorized service. I learned that this issue not only occurred in my personal vehicle but also in many others of the same production series. Toyota acknowledged the problem and stated that they would repaint my car free of charge. However, a series of problems emerged once the process began, leaving me in a significant predicament. Our home suffered severe damage and collapsed during the earthquake on February 6th, forcing my family and me to relocate to Tokiler. Unfortunately, our current residence is 30 km away from the city, and there is no bus passing through this area. Moreover, my daughter, who is a high school student, needs to commute to school daily. However, due to our location, this is not feasible. I requested a replacement vehicle from the Toyota authorized service, but the response I received was "we cannot provide." Yet, I am aware that other customers in similar situations are provided with replacement vehicles. This situation extends beyond the daily challenges we face. Being unable to ensure my daughter's right to education, which is one of the fundamental rights and freedoms specified in the constitution, both surprised and saddened me. It is unacceptable to still be dealing with such issues in the year 2024. With this letter, I request the prompt resolution of the hardship I am facing and the provision of a suitable solution. Additionally, I would like to understand why the advantages provided to other customers in similar situations have not been extended to me. I expect my problem to be resolved as soon as possible and my hardship to be alleviated. Sincerely, Ali B*****
