I Am Escalating My Toshiba TV Freezing Defect to Demand an Upgraded Replacement
I have been unable to use my Toshiba 55QA4263DT model television properly for about a year and a half due to chronic remote control issues and frequent freezing. The remote does not respond correctly, the television hangs continuously, and this completely ruins the viewing experience.
Throughout this process, system updates were performed multiple times and the motherboard was replaced; however, none of these actions permanently resolved the issue. Following my continued complaints, I submitted another service request around July 14, and authorized technicians arrived on-site and confirmed the defect. On July 17, I received a text message confirming that a product replacement had been approved. Yet, since that decision, neither the service center nor the brand has taken any further action or progressed the process, leaving me stranded with a defective television.
Despite everything that has occurred, the company is attempting to force me to accept the exact same model that suffers from this chronic fault. Because I do not want to experience the same defects again and because the amount I paid on July 16, 2024, has lost significant purchasing value today, I am suffering clear hardship. I refuse to be coerced into accepting the same flawed unit; I demand either a refund equivalent to the current market value of this product under present market conditions or a hassle-free replacement with an equivalent, updated model.
