My Samsung QE50Q60AAUXTK TV Developed the Same Panel Defect Twice
In February 2022, I purchased a Samsung QE50Q60AAUXTK television. In March 2024, a panel failure occurred for the first time and the panel was replaced free of charge under warranty. Now, two years later, in April 2026, the same panel failure has happened again. The authorized Samsung service examined the device and prepared a report stating that the panel needs to be replaced once more. It is clear that this product has a recurring panel problem approximately every two years, which seriously undermines my trust in the device and makes it unusable for me in the long term. For this reason, I no longer find another panel replacement acceptable and I request that my television be replaced with a new product. I contacted Samsung customer service about the recurring panel issue and was told that the solution team would get back to me. However, it has been about a week and no one has called me again, and my issue remains unresolved. I kindly request that my television be replaced and that this process be concluded as soon as possible.
Although I reported the issue to Samsung in April, my TV has still not been replaced. They contacted me again yesterday and asked me to send the TV to the service center for a second time. They said that a repair might be possible, but even that is not guaranteed. I still want the TV to be replaced. I do not want to face another panel replacement issue within the next two years.
Samsung called me last week, asked about my request, said they could replace the panel and that a refund might also be possible, but they didn't provide a definitive solution. This situation is still uncertain and the problem hasn't been resolved.
Today, after a long time, a senior gentleman from Samsung's solution teams called. They said that previously, when the TV's full warranty period ended, the panel replacement was done free of charge, so they did not accept my request for a second panel replacement. So I ask Samsung: why did you reject the April 2026 Samsung service report that a panel replacement was needed (₺1000) and instead require me to pay for a new Samsung service report on 11.06.2026 (₺1500)? For me, the Samsung brand is completely over. A company that acknowledges a chronic panel fault but leaves the customer suffering never earns trust. I wish that when buying the product it would be stated that the TV's most expensive component, the panel, needs replacement every two years, so the customer could make an informed choice.
