About a month ago, I purchased a pair of shoes from the Timberland store at Ankara Kentpark. The store employees told me that the shoe model runs narrow and specifically recommended that I buy a half size larger. Trusting their guidance, I purchased the size they suggested. However, when I wore the shoes for the first time, within just one hour my toes and toenails began to hurt unbearably, and my toes became almost numb.
I returned the product to the store. They first attempted to stretch the shoes, but this did not provide any relief. They then sent the shoes for inspection twice, and both times I received a negative response. Not only was I unable to use the product, but after the most recent return, the front sections of both the right and left shoes had visible creases, and the shoes were deformed when they were handed back to me. In other words, the shoes did not fit properly, and the product has now lost its original shape.
Despite wearing the shoes for only one hour and purchasing this size based on the salesperson’s recommendation, I do not accept the refusal to take responsibility for the discomfort and the deformation of the product. I cannot wear the shoes in their current condition. I am requesting a full refund. If necessary, I will provide photos showing the deformation that occurred after just one hour of use, and if no resolution is provided, I will file a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Board.
