Skywell ET5 LR Driven 723 Kilometers Without Customer Consent at Service Center
I left my Skywell ET5 LR vehicle, distributed under Ulu Motor, at the authorized service center on April 4, 2026, for a minor bodywork repair. At the time, I also had some mechanical and software issues with the vehicle, for which a separate service request was created. I was informed that the battery or battery module might be defective and that they were awaiting approval from China for a solution; however, no clear or satisfactory information regarding the defect was provided throughout the process.
When I left the vehicle at the service center, its mileage was 24,747 km, but I was only able to pick it up on April 28, 2026, with a mileage of 25,470 km. This means the vehicle was driven for 723 km without my knowledge or consent. Despite this, I was asked to sign battery replacement documents after being told the battery would be replaced, only to be informed later that the battery had not been completely replaced and that only a single module had been changed. Due to both the excessive mileage added to the car and the contradictory, vague updates regarding the battery replacement, I feel deeply aggrieved and unsafe.
I demand that this grievance be resolved, that a written official explanation be provided detailing what was done to the vehicle and why it was driven for so many kilometers, that the battery or relevant parts be genuinely replaced if necessary, and that my hardship be compensated by the company. Otherwise, I hereby declare that I will exercise my legal rights.
