My TikTok account (@hakanngunes) was hacked today. When I tried to log in, I noticed that the verification code was being sent to a different email address that doesn’t belong to me. I don’t recognize that email, and I’ve never used it before. I contacted TikTok’s support team to recover my account, but I haven’t received any response yet.
There hasn’t been any payment activity or balance loss on my account. However, I did receive an SMS notification on my phone confirming that my account had been compromised. I currently live in Kocaeli, Turkey.
I request that my account be returned to me as soon as possible and that TikTok expedite the recovery process.
