Temu Refuses Store Credit for Shedding Winter Coats

I ordered winter coats from Temu on 18 June. About two weeks after receiving them, I noticed that the fabric started shedding significantly, which is not what I expected from new coats. I contacted Temu customer service about this issue. They told me that I must return the items. However, I have already washed the coats, so returning them in the original condition is no longer possible, and I do not think it is reasonable to reject my complaint just because I washed items I intended to use normally. Due to the poor fabric quality and the shedding problem that appeared after a short time, I request that Temu provide me with store credit for the affected coats as a fair solution.
