I Face Poor Quality Products and Misleading Promotions on Temu

Over the past two months, I made several purchases on Temu, both from the main app and side apps like Farmland. Unfortunately, many of the items I received were defective or below expectations. For example, the flashlight arrived broken, the pajamas had visible stains, and the thermos lid was faulty. On top of that, in apps like Farmland, products were advertised as free promotional rewards, but these items were never delivered.

When I contacted Temu customer service, the only response I received was the same repeated instruction: “Return the product.” I find this unacceptable, because instead of ensuring that quality-checked items are shipped in the first place, customers are forced to go through the hassle of returns over and over again. What I expect as a customer is not just refunds, but also proper quality control before shipping, along with honest, transparent promotions.

So far, I have spent around ₺2,500 on Temu, and these recurring issues have cost me time, money, and trust. At this point, I am requesting that Temu provide full refunds for the defective items and take steps to ensure that customers are not misled by false promotions or forced into endless return processes.

Temu needs to take greater responsibility for the reliability of its platform and the accountability of its sellers, instead of pushing the burden onto customers every time a problem arises.
