On June 16, 2025, I purchased the Tefal Pro Express GV9812 steam iron, expecting a high-quality product. Unfortunately, after just the second use, the iron began leaking water—an issue clearly visible in the videos I’ve attached. I immediately contacted the authorized service center to address the problem. Shockingly, they claimed this wasn’t a malfunction, saying that water remaining in the hose between the tank and the iron needed to be cleared by pressing the steam button when the iron reaches ready mode. Frankly, that explanation doesn’t make sense and doesn’t match the premium standards Tefal advertises.
Even more frustrating, I dropped off the iron for inspection on July 9, 2025, and wasn’t able to pick it up until July 11. Despite requesting an official technical service form, they refused to provide one. In subsequent uses, the same leaking issue persisted, again visible in my recordings.
Tefal Türkiye has failed to take responsibility for this product. Instead of replacing it or properly investigating the issue, they just redirected me to the same service center that didn’t even give me documentation. I’m extremely disappointed and want to warn other customers — don’t let the brand name fool you. Tefal doesn’t stand behind its products or customer experience.
