In the summer of 2022, we purchased an LG 18,000 BTU air conditioner. Before the warranty even expired, the unit began to malfunction. When the service technicians first came out, they said there was an issue with the fan, which they fixed, but it broke down again. On their next visit, they said the mainboard needed replacing. They took the outdoor unit away, repaired it, but now it’s malfunctioning again.
We requested a replacement from the service center. A record was created, but the replacement request was denied. The warranty expires on June 16th, and if the replacement isn’t made by then, we’ll incur a lot of expenses. Now they’re saying the gas is depleted and if the unit malfunctions again after refilling, it won’t be covered under warranty. We want the air conditioner replaced. It hasn’t even been two years, and it’s already breaking down repeatedly. We need support on this issue because neither the service center nor the LG call center is providing any help.
