Supercell Banned My Son's Brawl Stars Account Without Proof or Prior Notice
My son's Brawl Stars account has been permanently banned without prior notice or a specific reason given. He has played the game for years and invested money into it. Do you have technical proof that he shared his account or that it was hacked? He has used multiple devices and both parents’ emails are linked to the account. We travel frequently between Turkey and Italy as we reside in both countries. While we understand that Supercell has its own rules, the company must also comply with consumer protection laws. In the European Union, the Directive on Consumer Rights (Directive 2011/83/EU) safeguards consumers from unfair commercial practices, requiring companies to provide clear explanations for actions like account bans, especially when purchases are involved. Similarly, Turkey's Consumer Protection Law (No: 6502) provides comparable protections. The lack of proper communication and recourse mechanisms violates principles of fairness and transparency. Before escalating the issue to the Autorità Garante della Concorrenza e del Mercato (AGCM) in Italy or the Turkish Consumer Arbitration Committee, I urge you to review the account, the amounts spent, and its history. Please provide clear proof of any alleged account sharing, as we are unaware of such actions. If the ban remains, I will seek reimbursement for all in-game purchases and formally document the emotional distress caused to my son, supported by medical reports.
