Back in 2009, my husband gifted me a Storks brand solitaire ring from Temizay Jewelry in Çanakkale as a wedding present. What should have been a lifelong memory has turned into an ongoing nightmare. The ring has now lost its stone three times. The first two times—in 2019 and 2020—the stone and its prongs completely detached. I was lucky enough to find the stone both times (once at home, once on the beach) and brought the ring to Paşa Kuyumculuk, now the authorized Storks dealer in Çanakkale. They claimed they would send it to the brand's central service for repair.
Both times, after a month of waiting, I received my ring back with the stone seemingly secured again. But clearly, the repairs were poor. Two months ago, the stone fell out once more—this time in my building's elevator. Despite searching with my husband, the building staff, and even the elevator technician, the stone was gone. I contacted Storks directly and was initially told by a representative (Mr. H**) to send the ring via the same store for another review.
But what I got was an infuriating, disrespectful call from someone named Mr. E**. He accused me—rudely and without any proof—of intentionally removing the stone with a sharp object and sending in a tampered ring. This was not only offensive but unacceptable. As a bank professional living in Çanakkale for 16 years, I place the highest value on trust and integrity, and this treatment was beyond disappointing.
Even worse, the company has no record of my previous two repairs, claiming Paşa Kuyumculuk might have repaired it on their own without informing the main office. So where is the quality control? Where is the accountability? How can a company like Storks, which claims to be a prestigious jewelry brand, allow such a broken, untracked process to go on for years?
I demand Storks take ownership of this situation, stop shifting the blame, and provide a full resolution—whether that means refunding or replacing the product. This isn’t just about a missing diamond. It’s about the complete lack of responsibility and respect shown to a loyal customer.
