I Paid Stayforlong for My Hilton Stay but Hotel Says No Payment Was Made

I made and paid in full for a hotel reservation through Stayforlong for a 3-night stay at Hampton by Hilton Samsun (April 1–4, 2025) for two people. However, when I arrived at the hotel, the front desk informed me that no payment had been received. I had to show them my payment confirmation to prove that I had already paid in advance.

The hotel staff told me that they had experienced similar issues multiple times before with Stayforlong, which is incredibly concerning. I immediately sent an email to Stayforlong explaining the issue, but I have yet to receive any response. Even after checking out, I followed up with the hotel and was told that the payment still hadn’t been deposited into their account.

Thankfully, the staff at Hilton Samsun were polite, professional, and allowed me to check in without additional charges. But it’s unacceptable that a fully prepaid reservation shows up as unpaid, creating stress during what should’ve been a relaxing trip.
