I Booked Through Stayforlong But My Hotel Reservation Didn’t Show Up at Check-In

I booked a room at Gaziantep Greenpark Hotel through Stayforlong, and even though I received confirmation and made full payment, the reservation did not show up in the hotel’s system when I arrived. Thankfully, the hotel staff were kind and understanding enough to let us stay after reviewing our documents. But it’s unacceptable that Stayforlong failed to process the booking properly—and even worse, no one responded to my emails when I tried to resolve the issue afterward.

At checkout, the hotel had still not received payment, meaning I could’ve been double-charged or denied a room if the staff weren’t so professional. After looking up other reviews, I saw this is not an isolated incident. Many people have experienced the same issue.

I strongly warn others: don’t book through Stayforlong or via Trivago. You may end up stranded and out of pocket. Stayforlong, respond to my complaint and resolve the payment issue immediately.
