I entered the boisterous café eager to try their special brew. Standing in line, I saw the green logo and smelled coffee, which excited me. Finally, I could order. A smiley birthday announcement and birthday coffee request. The barista's smile had turned into a smirk, surprising me. I wasn't just annoyed by the lack of coffee, but also by their response. They laughed instead of offering a solution or admitting the mistake. I was mocked for requesting a free cup of coffee. People in line looked confused, and I felt humiliated.
