I Can’t Use My Stanley Thermos for 3+ Months Due to Recall But Still No Replacement Lid

I submitted a recall request for my Stanley thermos after it was confirmed—based on its serial number—that the lid was part of a defective production batch. Stanley told me not to use the thermos until the new lid arrives and estimated a waiting time of 7 to 9 weeks. That’s already a long delay, but now it's been over 3 months, and I still haven’t received anything—not even a status update.

It’s unacceptable that a brand like Stanley would leave its customers hanging like this. Not only have they failed to deliver the replacement in a reasonable timeframe, but I’m now forced to buy another thermos just to meet my daily needs. Why should I have to pay even more money because of their production error?

To make matters worse, I’ve had problems with this thermos since day one. The lid gave off a strong odor and the thermos leaked on first use. When I returned it for inspection, I was told it had no issue—but I had already gone without it for two months during that process. Now here we are again, waiting indefinitely.

Stanley, your customer service and product quality are both falling short. I demand an immediate update on my replacement lid and compensation for the time and functionality I’ve lost. Your customers deserve better than this silence and delay.

They were supposed to send a new lid for my Stanley thermos, but the lid they sent has nothing to do with the old one. There was neither a note nor anything else in the package. I want my original lid. I am accepting this sent lid temporarily so that I can use my thermos. I expect them to send the original color lid as soon as possible.

The lid sent for my thermos last week is not the original one... Is this a joke? I hope the company sent a temporary lid. If I wanted this model, I would have bought this thermos, right? I want to state that I do not accept this lid in any way. I demand that the original lid for my thermos be sent!
