Southwest Airlines Customer Service Refused To Honor My Travel Voucher
I've been a loyal customer of Southwest Airlines for 3 years, but my most recent experience with them has left me deeply disappointed and questioning my decision to choose this airline. In the final phases of the pandemic, one of my flights got canceled, so I decided to hold onto the ticket for future use. Yesterday, when attempting to use this ticket, I was informed that it had expired and I was unable to obtain a replacement. Upon contacting customer service, I was informed that there is a one-year expiration period for the ticket. Unfortunately, as it had not been used within that timeframe, it is now rendered unusable. What an absurdly illogical explanation! No one informed me about the time limit for its usage. According to them, it was mentioned in the terms of use that were sent via email. Who even bothers with reading terms of use these days?
