On 31 November 2025, an amount of R1 858.28 was deducted from my Capitec account, using my card ending in 6659, for a transaction described as Smallpdf. I have never used Smallpdf, never subscribed to any of their services, and did not authorize this payment in any way. After noticing the deduction, I contacted Capitec to dispute the transaction as unauthorized, but I was told that because the transaction had already gone through, nothing could be done. This leaves me without support despite the charge clearly being for a service I never requested or used. I request a full refund of the unauthorized R1 858.28 transaction and the immediate cancellation of any subscription or recurring payment linked to Smallpdf on my card. I also ask that this matter be investigated as possible fraud to prevent further unauthorized deductions.
