Skechers Shoes Tore After 3 Months and Company Blames Me for “User Error”

Skechers is a huge regret! It's an unbelievably poor, careless brand with no feature beyond its sole. After only three months, my right shoe developed a visible defect, yet they had the nerve to call it “user error,” anyone with basic knowledge and eyesight could see from a distance. They treated us as if we’d never owned a pair of shoes before or didn’t know how to wear them. The shoe clearly began tearing at a weak stitching point, and the laces frayed and twisted within just 2-2.5 months, looking like worn-out tassels. I bought the shoes from Izmit Outlet, and on initial review through photos, they claimed it was user error, instructing me to leave them at the store for inspection. The store is 50 km away, so I made a 100 km round trip, only to be told they couldn’t proceed as the initial complaint wasn’t closed. After another trip for approval, I made yet another 100 km trip, only to hear their brilliant conclusion: “You don’t know how to use shoes, and the tear is your fault.” Now I’ll have to make yet another 100 km trip to pick up the shoes. This is the most irresponsible and dismissive company I’ve ever encountered, with the same dismissive response to every complaint.

Skechers still has no result, continuing in a silent position. When you start losing customers, maybe you'll come to your senses, brand roaming at the peak of indifference. Perhaps a saying like this could enter the literature: "Skechers victims, Skechers unlucky ones, Skechers fools, I trusted you and you turned out to be a Skechers, You Skechers-like you, Outwardly appealing but inwardly Skechers, thankfully I've never had a Skechers, ... etc."

Skechers sent a message as if mocking, saying, "Pick up our Ultra high-quality shoes, which you destroyed in 2 months because you don't know how to use them, from the İzmit Outlet store by 24.11.2024 after they came back from inspection, otherwise, we will destroy the remaining parts." Without shame, I traveled 100 km once due to their mistakes, then they said, "Okay, bring them," so I traveled another 100 km, and now they say, "You have a lot of money, come travel another 100 km and take back the shoes you don't know how to wear." Shame on a company like yours, I hope we see you shut down soon.

Skechers is a regret, if you're spending that much money, go buy another pair of shoes. If you want to feel deceived when you encounter a problem, I don't know, then go ahead and continue shopping. Skechers is a regret!
