Skechers Shoes' Soles Split in Under a Year – Warranty Ignored

While most Skechers products come with a 6-month warranty, the pair I purchased was supposed to be covered for two years. Yet, before even reaching the one-year mark, both soles split open!
I have never seen this happen with any other brand, not even cheaper ones. What’s even worse is that I don’t even bother taking them in for a warranty claim because I already know the response: "User error." Really? How exactly am I supposed to be "splitting" the soles myself?
This experience has been a total waste of money, and I regret my purchase. Skechers needs to stand behind its products and offer a proper solution for customers who receive defective merchandise!
