Skechers' Poor Reaction to Shoe Damage



Hello there. In early April 2023, I purchased a pair of shoes from your store at Kozyatağı Optimum Shopping Mall. Approximately 2.5 months later, these shoes literally fell apart at the sides. Since I was away for the summer, it wasn't until late August that I returned to Istanbul and brought the shoes back to the store where I had purchased them. The store informed me that they would send the product to the central office for evaluation. Shortly after, I received a message from the central office stating that the issue was not due to a manufacturing error and that the product was being sent back to the store. To be told that the damage that occurred in just 2.5 months of wear was not a manufacturing fault is simply unacceptable for a company of your stature. We didn't deliberately cause this damage, so if it's not a manufacturing defect, it must be a material issue. Shouldn't that concern you too? I kindly request a reconsideration of our predicament, as it is truly disheartening to have such a significant issue brushed aside as not being a manufacturing error. This response does not befit a company of your caliber. Furthermore, if it's not a manufacturing error, it suggests a material issue, which should be of concern to you as well.
