I Am Complaining About The Poor Quality Of Skechers Shoes

On February 28, 2024, I bought a Skechers brand shoe in İzmir İstinye Shopping Mall. Although the shoe fit comfortably and did not cause any discomfort, I noted that before 1.5 months, the inner lining and heel pieces tore, and there were holes in the sole. When I returned the shoe to the store where I purchased it, they logged my complaint and forwarded it to Olka Sports Equipment. The feedback I received indicated that the problem was not production-related. Now, if a shoe costs roughly 5,000 lira and falls apart after only 1.5 months of normal wear, what might be the cause if not a manufacturing defect? It turns out that Olka Sports Equipment distributes this brand. Why are you releasing such low-quality products into the market, and where does your responsibility lie under these circumstances? Olka responded to my complaint with brazen audacity, claiming, "Dear customer, no production-related defect was found in your product under inquiry with request number 1-349083." Given this response, I have contacted the Arbitration Committee. We'll see what happens together. If the brand was confident in its quality, I wouldn't have had to go through these procedures. My advise is to avoid the Skechers brand. Instead, choose customer-centric firms that at least guarantee their quality for the same price range.
