Singer 6160 Brilliance Keeps Malfunctioning – Won’t Sew Properly

I purchased a Singer 6160 Brilliance sewing machine, and it hasn’t even been a year, yet it constantly malfunctions. It won’t sew even two simple fabric layers without issues. Every time I try to use it, either the bobbin tension or the thread tension gets messed up.
I already took it to service once, and while they claimed to have fixed it, the same problems persist. The machine locks up and makes loud clicking noises, even when sewing lightweight, non-brushed fabrics. I have tried everything—changing the needle, using different threads—but nothing works!
I feel completely frustrated and regret this purchase. My money has gone to waste in less than a year! Singer, replace my machine! Even when using the correct needle for thin fabrics, the problem continues. Has anyone else experienced this? I demand a solution!
