Singapore Airlines Flight Cancellation Caused 28-Hour Delay

May 21, 2025 2:57 PM4

The details of the Travel Insurance policy issued in my name by HDI Insurance prior to my trip are as follows: Policy Number: 310371784***, Certificate Number: 1860***, Policy Start Date: April 21, 2025, Policy End Date: April 29, 2025. My flight SW-391, scheduled to depart from Istanbul to Singapore at 1:20 PM on April 21, 2025, was canceled by Singapore Airlines. As a result, I was only able to reach Singapore on April 22, 2025 at 2:25 PM via an Abu Dhabi connection on flight EY-542 operated by E*** Airlines. This situation caused a total delay of 28 hours. Within the scope of my travel insurance coverage, I am requesting that the hardship I experienced be compensated and that my entitlement be paid at the maximum coverage level available under the policy. I respectfully submit this information and request that the necessary action be taken. Although Singapore Airlines informed me by email within a one-month period that the matter was under investigation and would be resolved as soon as possible, no solution has yet been provided. I also request that Singapore Airlines contact me directly regarding this matter.
