Shein Provided Return Label but No Way to Return Heavy Item
I am writing regarding a rotating shoe rack I purchased from Shein around a month ago, which I have been trying to return without success. The product is still unopened and has just been standing in my home, as I no longer want it. I arranged a prepaid return label that cost me £5, but when I received the label it showed the same address as on the original parcel, along with a clear note stating “do not send back to this address”. Because of this warning, I have not been able to send the parcel back. In addition, the item is heavy and I need it to be collected from my address rather than having to carry it myself. Despite having this prepaid return label, I am effectively unable to use it because I was told not to return the item to that address, and I have not been provided with any clear alternative or collection arrangement. This situation has left me with an unwanted, unopened item in my home and out of pocket for the £5 label. I request that this issue be resolved by arranging collection of the rotating shoe rack directly from my address and providing an appropriate refund, including the return label cost, so that I am not left with an item I do not want and cannot return.
