Cancel Shein Saver And Provide A Full Refund To My Credit Card
I recently placed an order on Shein.com on June 30 from Massachusetts and, without requesting it, I was charged $7.90 for something called “Shein Saver.” I did not knowingly enroll in any such service, and I only noticed this charge when I received the order confirmation email. I had not even noticed the name “Shein Saver” while ordering; I only clicked on one of the discounts offered for orders over a certain amount, and at no point was it stated that using that discount or coupon would enroll me in a paid service. This Shein Saver fee does not appear on the order when I view it under Returns/Refunds on the website, yet it is clearly listed in the order confirmation email. When I tried to contact Shein to resolve this, I discovered there is no customer service telephone number and no email address listed on the Contact Us page. I attempted to reply to the order confirmation email, but I did not receive any response. I then used the online chat option in my Shein account; however, it only connected me to a chatbot, which suggested I use a third‑party “Just Answer” service for $5 instead of providing direct support for my issue. I am requesting a full refund of the $7.90 Shein Saver charge, the immediate cancellation of any Shein Saver enrollment that may have been created on my account, and written confirmation that this Shein Saver service is cancelled and will not renew or be charged again in the future. Based on how it is presented on the website, my understanding was that this feature is free, and I am asking for this misunderstanding and the unauthorized charge to be corrected promptly.
Thank you Amazon for making your website easy to navigate, customer service easy to contact, returns are simple, and most items are of quality. And, you don't charge customers for features that one has not requested.
Thanks to Xolvie, Shein responded with a positive message. They stated they will refund the $7.90 to my original payment. I'll wait for my credit card statement to verify that they've followed through with their promise
