I visited Sephora at Forum Bornova in Izmir for a brow shaping service at the Benefit Brow Bar with Koray Bey. When I booked my appointment, I was told the procedure would take about 30 minutes, but the entire session was rushed and finished in only 5–6 minutes.
Before the service began, I clearly stated that my main expectation was for my eyebrows to look even and balanced. Unfortunately, the result was very disappointing. One eyebrow was left much thinner than the other, while some areas still had visible excess hair. On top of that, about 95% of the process was done with wax, which caused noticeable hair breakage.
I raised the issue at the store, and they did not charge me for the service, but that does not solve the problem. I have had my brows shaped by another professional before, and the difference in quality and attention to detail is striking. Sephora should ensure that staff at the Benefit Brow Bar are properly trained to deliver measured, symmetrical eyebrow shaping that matches the service description.
I request a proper explanation of the methods used, why my brows were rushed and left uneven, and what corrective steps Sephora plans to take for dissatisfied customers like me.
