I Subscribed to Scannero Thinking It Would Identify Numbers But Got Charged and Trapped

I recently downloaded the Scannero app, believing it would help me identify who owns unknown phone numbers. The app advertised a trial for ₺26, and I approved the charge, assuming it would be a one-time, limited trial. However, shortly after, the ₺26 was deducted from my account, and I realized the app is completely useless and misleading. It didn’t provide any of the functionality it promised.

Worse, when I tried to cancel the subscription, the cancellation button didn’t work. There was no accessible contact support within the app, and even the email listed is just a placeholder. I did email them requesting cancellation, and they replied that someone would respond within 1–2 days—but I haven’t heard back yet. I even had to disable online payments on my card out of fear they’d charge me again.

This is a deceptive app with zero transparency and no working cancellation process. I demand the cancellation of my subscription and a full refund of the ₺26 charged without proper service. Others should stay far away from Scannero.
