My two-year-old Samsung TV suddenly malfunctioned while we were watching it two days ago. The screen went black, and initially, we thought it might resolve itself, so we turned it off. However, the problem persisted the next day. I promptly called customer services, and a service technician arrived promptly. Unfortunately, they were not very solution-oriented. The technician requested payment in Turkish Lira and indicated that the entire screen needed replacement, which they could do at home without taking the TV away. The issue is that my TV warranty expired just 15 days ago. Now, they are asking me to pay 11,000 tl for a product that I purchased for 5,000 tl only two years ago, essentially trying to make me pay to prevent malfunctions after the warranty expiration. This cost is not something I can easily afford, especially with a small child at home who wants to watch TV. I'm in desperate need of a solution. 🙏🏻
