Samsung Washing Machine Arrived With Torn Door Seal but I Got the Blame

Even though I recently bought a Samsung washing machine, a piece of the round rubber inside the door tore off. The machine is barely two months old, and since we were on vacation, it was only used about 10 times. The installation team argued with us, complaining of back pain and asking us to stack the machines — we had also purchased a dryer. They completed the setup without proper checks. After they left, I noticed a bulge in the rubber but didn’t reach out again due to the argument. We thought it wouldn’t be an issue, but unfortunately, the rubber tore. The company claims this is user error. The technician who came said the laundry got stuck and caused the tear, which they insist is our fault. But it’s not even possible to put anything else in the washer — machines should be built accordingly. They’re just eager to label it as user error. We’ve called Samsung numerous times, and no matter how we explain it, they respond with the same corporate line: user fault. Then they try to seem helpful by offering assistance with unrelated issues. I even paid an extra ₺7000 for an extended warranty. I bought it through Media Markt, but neither Samsung nor Media Markt stands behind the product. I regret the money I spent.
