Samsung UE65HU7500L Panel Dark Spots - No Spare Parts

Samsung UE65HU7500L Panel Dark Spots - No Spare Parts
February 11 8:45 PM51

I own a Samsung UE65HU7500L television and recently started experiencing serious screen panel issues during normal use. Around two weeks ago, dark areas and dimming began to appear on the screen, and these darkened sections have been increasing and spreading since then, which makes the television almost unusable. I contacted Samsung authorized service about this problem. I was informed that there is no spare part supply for the panel of my television and that they cannot help me, and it was even implied that I should basically throw the device away. I find it unacceptable that a television which corresponds to a value of approximately ₺75,000 today is left without any repair or solution option due to lack of parts. I request that the panel of my television be replaced. If the panel truly cannot be supplied, I expect Samsung to produce a solution-oriented alternative such as replacing my TV with a new equivalent device or offering another concrete solution, instead of leaving me with a device that is suggested to be discarded. I kindly ask for this situation to be reviewed and for a fair, reasonable solution to be provided as soon as possible.

Yes, friends, I was called by customer service, they told me what my problem was, and I repeated here the same things I wrote. I trusted a brand like Samsung and bought the most high‑quality, most prestigious product of its time—a product worth 100,000 TL in today’s money, no matter how you look at it. The answer I got was again that a part of your product is not available, we cannot help you. What am I supposed to do? They don’t say throw the product away, they call the product trash. I already want a written explanation; I’m saying I’ll take you to court. They said they can’t send a written text, they can’t send the audio recording of our conversation. They said they can’t give the service report even though you took 1,000 TL. My 17‑year‑old Siemens device broke, I had it serviced; my seven‑year‑old Vestel TV broke, and they said, at least for a certain amount, we’ll give you a brand‑new two‑year‑old device. Here, have Samsung quality. And we go and pay 100,000 TL for the “best” device. Friends, a piece of advice from a friend: you should not buy any product from a company that does not stand behind its product. I will follow this case to the end, I will keep pursuing it even if I have to spend my own money, even if I know I’ll lose the lawsuit. I will take this to the Consumer Court and chase it as far as it goes. Good day to everyone.

I would also like to add that if a product has no parts after ten years, why doesn't your sales team or the service that comes to you warn the consumer? If the product exceeds ten years, your product is trash—why don't you say that? Or when we open a service record you take the product's model code, you know it's a product older than ten years and that it has no parts—why does your service claim that parts for your product are unavailable and not show up? The product already has no parts, there's no solution to our malfunction, so why do you deliberately come and charge us 1,000 TL?
