Samsung QE65Q60A QLED Fails In Four Years
In October 2021, we purchased a Samsung QE65Q60AAUXTK model QLED TV from the Samsung store at Izmir Urla Bambu Shopping Center, and on September 6, 2025, it broke down, losing both sound and picture completely. When we called the authorized Samsung service, we were told it was an open cell screen failure that required a full screen replacement, with a repair cost of ₺20,000. We also paid a ₺1,000 inspection fee for the fault diagnosis. While we have televisions at home and in our neighborhood that have been working without issues for 15–20 years, it was very disappointing that a Samsung TV not even four years old had such a major failure with such a high repair cost. We chose this product specifically because we trusted the brand and its after-sales service. The warranty had expired less than two years ago. We reported our issue multiple times to Samsung customer service at 0212 401 02 11 and 444 7 711, but we never received any response, and when we called again today (September 29), we were told our request had been closed and the repair would only be done if we paid the full fee. We had only asked for a more reasonable service charge. We regret to state that Samsung has not met our expectations in terms of either product quality or customer service. We do not accept being charged such a high repair fee of ₺20,000 for a television that failed in less than four years. We request that the service fee be reconsidered and reduced.
