My Samsung BU8500 TV, which I bought just 4-5 months ago, fell during the Adiyaman earthquake. The screen has no visible cracks or damage, but when we turned it on, there were vertical stripes on the right and left sides of the screen. We moved to Istanbul and contacted Samsung customer service, who sent a technician to our home. But when the technician saw the TV, he said it was not covered under warranty and could not be fixed. To make matters worse, they charged us 350 TL for the visit, even though they did not do anything to repair the TV. It's a shame because all of the appliances in my house are Samsung. I curse the day I bought this TV.
