My Samsung UE55KU7000UXTK model TV experienced a panel failure after we moved it during the earthquake. On 31.08.2023, we replaced the panel with a 1-year warranty through 'Uğur Elektronik', the authorized Samsung service in Çanakkale, and paid for the repair. However, exactly 1 year and 1 month later, the TV started having issues again. We contacted the authorized service and paid a service fee of ₺800, and they informed us that the panel had failed once more. They confirmed it wasn’t a user error and quoted ₺17,120 for a replacement. When I reached out to Samsung headquarters, they said there was nothing they could do. They refused to stand behind their product, which failed just one month after the warranty expired, leaving me with a useless TV.
They contacted me and offered ₺13,400 for the repair. How could this be acceptable?
They contacted me and offered a repair with a discount for 13,000 TL. We did not accept it. Samsung did not stand behind the TV that gave the same error 13 months after the panel was replaced at the authorized service, just after the warranty expired by 1 month.
