My Samsung QLED TV Screen Turned Black After Warranty Expired—Lines Appeared Unexpectedly

I’m deeply disappointed in my Samsung QLED TV. After the warranty expired, a thin black line suddenly appeared in the center of the screen. Shortly afterward, a white horizontal line formed at the bottom, and now the entire screen has gone completely black. I bought this TV based on Samsung’s strong reputation in Turkey for reliability and longevity, but this experience has been quite the opposite.

What’s worse is that repair costs are so high, they’re practically unaffordable. A friend offered to take a look and will first inspect the power and HDMI inputs, but if that doesn’t help, I might have to turn the unit over to Samsung—not because I expect compensation, but so they can investigate the issue and perhaps prevent others from experiencing the same failure.

It’s incredibly frustrating to see a high-end television break down shortly after the warranty ends, especially when there was no misuse or damage. I hope Samsung reviews this product’s quality and investigates potential defects, because loyal customers like myself are losing trust in the brand. I urge Samsung to take responsibility and address this widespread screen failure before more people are affected.

Samsung QE50Q60T QLED TV Unusable Display After Limited Use

"The service performed a fault diagnosis, and the result was disappointing: the panel price is 22,000 TL. It is currently at the solution center; I hope the Samsung company stands by its product and replaces the panel. They claimed a 10-year screen warranty for the Samsung QLED TV, but what difference does that make for screen burn-in? If you are so confident in your screen, should we intentionally burn it? I don't understand; we will wait and see."
