Horizontal Lines on My Samsung QLED 55-Inch TV After Just a Few Years

December 25, 2024 9:46 PM43

I purchased a Samsung QLED 55-inch TV about 4-5 years ago, and now horizontal lines have started appearing on the screen. Over time, the number of lines has only increased. When I contacted Samsung's authorized service, I was told that replacing the panel would cost ₺16,000. It’s frustrating that a TV I purchased with confidence in Samsung's quality has developed such a major issue without any user error. Even lesser-known or less popular brands seem to offer longer-lasting products. I expect Samsung to address this issue fairly, as a premium product like this should not require such costly repairs in such a short time. I urge Samsung to resolve this matter promptly.

"The service performed a fault diagnosis, and the result was disappointing: the panel price is 22,000 TL. It is currently at the solution center; I hope the Samsung company stands by its product and replaces the panel. They claimed a 10-year screen warranty for the Samsung QLED TV, but what difference does that make for screen burn-in? If you are so confident in your screen, should we intentionally burn it? I don't understand; we will wait and see."
