Complaint About The Defective Samsung 55cu7200 TV (Backlight Bleeding)


I bought a Samsung 55cu7200 model TV. After the TV was installed, I noticed that there was backlight bleeding on the screen, forming a frame-like glow in all four corners. I contacted the authorized Samsung service and they came to my home to take pictures of the product, stating that they would send these photos to the headquarters for evaluation. They verbally confirmed that the backlight bleeding was not normal and that the product was defective. Following the service report, I was contacted by Samsung headquarters, informing me that a report had been entered stating that there were lines on the screen and that the product was confirmed to be defective. They initiated the exchange process, stating that I would be contacted within 20 business days to discuss the desired model for replacement and place an order accordingly. The replacement of the product would be carried out afterward. However, one day later, I received another call from Samsung headquarters, stating that the product was not defective and that the request for replacement had been denied. Despite the acknowledgment of a defective product by Samsung and the initial approval for replacement, I am currently being denied the right to have the product exchanged. It has been one week since I purchased the TV, and for the past week, I have been contacted by Samsung repeatedly, with each conversation offering a different explanation and a refusal to replace the defective product. If the product cannot be replaced, I will initiate legal proceedings. I hope that as a reputable brand, Samsung will resolve this issue and address my grievances.
