I Face Strap Damage on Samsonite Pro DLX 6 Backpack After 10 Months of Use
On November 24, 2024, I purchased a Samsonite Pro DLX 6 backpack from the Viaport Istanbul store. I’ve only used the bag moderately—about two or three times a week—mainly for commuting between home and work. Despite this light use, over the past week the fabric around the fixed shoulder strap stitching has started to come apart.
This issue is especially disappointing since the Pro DLX 6 model is marketed for its durability and premium fabric quality. A product in this price and quality range should not show such defects within less than a year of light use.
I have not yet contacted customer service, but I believe my bag is still under warranty, and I still have my purchase receipt. Since the straps are fixed and do not appear repairable, I request a full replacement of the product under warranty.
I kindly ask Samsonite to handle this quickly and ensure that my complaint is resolved without delay.
