My Salomon X Ultra 4 Outdoor Shoes Tore in 5 Months and Warranty Claim Was Denied

I bought a pair of Salomon X Ultra 4 Outdoor shoes from Etichet, expecting comfort and durability given the brand’s premium reputation. Unfortunately, the shoes started to come apart from the side seam in less than 5 months of use.
Despite the fact that I still had 13 months remaining on the warranty, I sent them in for inspection, hoping for a fair resolution. But after a long 65-day wait, I received a rejection notice with no meaningful explanation.
This is unacceptable for a product marketed as rugged outdoor footwear. I didn’t even put them through extreme use—just standard outdoor conditions. A supposedly durable hiking shoe should last longer than a few months.
I paid a high price for a Salomon product believing in the quality and brand promise, but the result has been disappointing. Clearly, Salomon is failing to uphold its standards, and customers are the ones paying the price—literally.
