My Salomon Shoes Wore Out Quickly and Got Unfairly Rejected
In June 2024, I purchased a pair of Salomon athletic shoes from Boyner’s online store. I’ve only worn them occasionally, and certainly not under heavy or extreme use. Despite this, the shoes started showing serious wear and tear—including color fading, material deformation, and tearing.
On April 27, 2025, I brought the shoes to Boyner Marmara Forum for inspection. I was told the process would take 21 business days, but I received a message just 10 days later, on May 5, stating that the inspection had been completed and the result was rejected—as if my shoes were never even sent for proper evaluation.
Boyner claimed Salomon had reviewed the case, but it doesn’t feel like any real effort was made. I disputed the outcome and asked for a reinspection, returning the shoes once again to the store.
I paid around ₺3500 for this pair—a price that reflects a premium brand, not one that falls apart within a year of light use. Sadly, neither Salomon nor Boyner seems to show the level of care or accountability that customers deserve.
