Segway Refused to Cover My Ninebot F3 Pro Bearing Failure Under Warranty

I purchased my Segway Ninebot F3 Pro from MediaMarkt in May 2025 under Bilkom's official warranty. Both the invoice and the product packaging clearly stated that the scooter was covered by Bilkom. About five days ago, I noticed an unusual noise coming from one of the wheels and contacted customer support. Since the scooter was still under warranty, I was directed to an authorized service center.

I delivered the scooter to the service center on March 7, and on March 9 I was contacted by the technicians. They informed me that the wheel bearings had failed and requested approximately $59, including labor, to complete the repair. This information had never been mentioned during my initial conversation, and because I knew the scooter was still covered by warranty, I refused to pay. When I contacted the company again, I was then told that wheel bearings were not covered under the warranty.

I objected to this decision, and I was told that the matter would be reviewed and that someone would contact me with an update. However, two days have passed without any response, and my issue remains unresolved. I cannot accept that the warranty coverage on a product purchased under Bilkom's guarantee is being narrowed after the fact and that I am being asked to pay for what I believe is a warranty repair.

I request that the wheel bearing failure on my Segway Ninebot F3 Pro be evaluated under the terms of the manufacturer's warranty and that the scooter be repaired free of charge, without any labor or parts fees. I also expect a clear explanation of the warranty coverage and a prompt resolution consistent with the protection that was promised when I purchased the product.
