In October, I purchased Royal Canin British Shorthair cat food. The batch number of the product is S23601A. When I first opened the bag, I did not notice that the food was moldy. Since my cat consumed the food, she was poisoned and passed away shortly afterward. We are deeply heartbroken by this tragic loss.

After the incident, I contacted both Royal Canin and the pet shop from which I purchased the product. They told me the food came directly from the factory and that they would look into the issue, but I have not received any update since. I also requested the invoice, yet it has still not been provided. I purchased the food with my credit card for $35 USD.

I request that Royal Canin and the seller cover all veterinary expenses related to my cat’s death, provide an official explanation regarding this incident, and increase quality control measures to ensure this never happens again. I sincerely hope that no other pet owner has to experience the same devastating loss that we did.
