I Couldn’t Return Revlon One Step Hair Styler to Trendyol Even Though It Was Unused
I ordered the Revlon One Step Hair Dryer and Styler from Trendyol, trusting their platform and return policy. The very next day after receiving it, I requested a return because I changed my mind. I never used the product—I only opened the box to inspect it. However, Trendyol rejected my return solely because the packaging had been opened.
How am I supposed to evaluate a product without opening the box? It was never used, never plugged in—just unsealed. Now they are sending the product back to me without even considering my return request. This is unacceptable, especially from a marketplace that advertises “Trendyol assurance.”
I feel completely misled and disappointed. I purchased this item assuming I’d have the right to return it like any other unused product. If there are restrictions, they should be clearly communicated upfront. I will never shop on Trendyol again, and I’ll actively discourage others from doing so.
If this issue isn’t resolved immediately, I will escalate the matter to the Consumer Arbitration Board. I demand that Trendyol accept the return of my unused Revlon product and refund the full amount to my card.
