Booking and Garenta Failed to Refund for Canceled Car Rental
I booked a rental car online through Booking for Garenta under my name, but I was unable to rent the car due to my low Findeks score. Garenta assured me that the booking would automatically cancel, and the ₺4845.24 payment would be refunded as their system showed the car was not rented.
Despite emailing them multiple times, I have not received my refund. Garenta claimed the money would be returned through Booking, but their follow-up response stated they couldn’t issue the refund. There’s no accessible contact in Turkey, leaving us completely helpless.
This has caused immense frustration and financial loss. Booking through Rentalcars.com is a regretful experience, and I will escalate this matter to court to resolve it.
